The Images |
| All the images on
this page were produced by Guest Artist Boogie Jack (real name Dennis Gaskill,
pictured at right with wife Alison)
Boogie Jack started out way back in
1996 by posting a few of his beautiful graphics onto the Net through a friend's
site. The name "Boogie Jack" actually came from an old blues song he was
listening to at the time - and when fame found him (which wasn't very long
afterwards!) his pseudonym had taken on a life all of its own. So he's used
it ever since. |

| Jack now
runs an enormous graphics and webmastery site from his home base in
Wisconsin. Although initially famous for his graphics, he's now becoming
just as famous for his excellent "Almost A Newsletter" and "Nutty Net Tutor"
email newsletters. "Almost A Newsletter" (which is packed full of webmastery
tips, cools sites and great freebies) was voted one of the top 3 ezines
by Writer's Digest in February 2000 - so it's well worth subscribing to!
Boogie Jack is also currently writing
a book on web design, and hopes to have this out in print some time later
in 2000.
The strip backgrounds displayed here
come from his world famous Pixel
River graphics collection - a huge archive of useful and beautiful
free web graphics that he maintains on-site. If you'd like to see more, then
we definitely recommend you visit his terrific site! |
