The Artist

All the images on this page were produced by Guest Artist Nikki Fay. Nikki Fay lives in the forested hills of Philomath, Oregon and teaches coloured pencil and computer classes at her local college where her innovative and progressive methods won her the "Teacher Of The Year" award in 1990. Her beautiful, subtly surrealistic coloured pencil artworks have appeared in solo and group exhibitions throughout the USA, in several publications and international collections. Nikki also served as the first president of the Oregon division of the Colored Pencil Society of America, where she still maintains an active role today. The river backgrounds displayed here are only a very small selection of a much larger graphics collection that Nikki has available at her wonderful Fay Studios site - and if you'd like to view the rest (and see her stunning coloured pencil work as well) you should definitely pay a visit!

Specialist's Notes 1. All images on this page are JPGs and are displayed at a standardised width of 490 pixels (their actual width is 800 pixels). Then can be used as backgrounds, Windows® wallpaper or textures for 3D rendering. 2. The individual weight of the images varies between 11,395 and 12,608 bytes (average: 11,830 bytes) 3.
