All images on this page are transparent animated GIFs and are displayed
at their actual size, which varies from 358 to 500 pixels wide. They work
equally well on dark or light backgrounds. |

The individual weight of the images varies between 1,528 and 8,916
bytes (average: 4,500 bytes) |

These animated bars can be used as page rules without imposing any
great speed penalty on your site. In general, the fewer the animations per
page the better - but if a bar is used repeatedly on a page and
is the only animation on the page (or the only one of two),
it will be captured by a viewer's browser cache and be redrawn repeatedly
as the browser renders the page. This is much faster than loading multiple
images. |
