images on this page are have been standardised at 490 pixels wide. Most of
these strip backgrounds are actually between 800 and 2000 pixels wide. |

of the images on this page are GIFS, but two are JPGs. The individual weight
of the images varies between 1,137 and 7,615 bytes (average: 3,230
bytes) |

To
view a page that uses any one of these backgrounds along with a 16-colour
contrast chart, the image type and weight and an example of how anti-aliased
graphics would look against it, move your cursor over the image of your choice
and click your left mouse button. |
