Animated
GIFs provide a simple way to add an animated effect to a web page without
requiring JavaScript or Java applets. They only display in Navigator 2.0
or Explorer 3.0 or above. When using them, remember that the greater the
number of animations on a single page, the more slowly it loads. One or two
small animations per page is probably the maximum advisable number to
use. |
